Collaborative Law - A New Approach to Family Law

The collaborative law approach is a fundamentally different way of dealing with family law disputes. Both parties must appoint Collaboratively trained lawyers who will then sign an agreement with them, to work in partnership, without resorting to the court process. Face-to-face meetings are then used as the forum for resolving the issues between you and your partner. For couples who genuinely seek to achieve fair solutions often with their children at the heart of the process, then this way of working together can not only prove cost effective and insightful but is also often hugely rewarding as solutions are forged through cooperation and communication lead to a greater understanding of one another, and see you really in control of the outcome, knowing that it will be you and not a judge that has the final say.
