Mandy Cohen

Legal Executive

We are extremely pleased that in October 2008 Mandy was able to join our busy and expanding Family Department.

Following a varied career including work as a PA for solicitors in Cambridge, Mandy qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in September 1980.

Prior to joining Paul Robinson, Mandy had been in the employ of another local law firm for 23 years where she had supervised the Family Department.

Mandy has extensive experience of all areas of Family Law including matters under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and the Inheritance Provision for Family and Dependents Act 1975. Mandy has been involved in a number of substantial cases including the leading case of Goodman v. Gallant.

Mandy is well respected by colleagues and opponent solicitors alike and when undertaking her studies won the Lewis & Dean prize given by the Institute of Legal Executives awarded to the student obtaining the most distinctions, together with a prize awarded by the Chelmsford Solicitors Group for the performance which was the best of all of the Fellowship students in the Institute.

Mandy has been a member of the Family Law Panel since June 1999.

When not working Mandy enjoys the outdoor life - gardening, walking her dogs and riding horses.
